Artist Comments: I had the immense pleasure of going on a two week rafting trip down the Grand Canyon in the summer of 2006. I took a small sketching journal with me and drew sights around me each day. This is one of the drawings from that journal. Whispering Springs is a idyllic little spot at the end of a side canyon hike. There is a small but long waterfall sliding down the rock into a pool, and drops of water seep out of the rock directly overhead and sprinkle one area of the water. |
